Totally Bats Table Tennis

Our group meets every Friday from 2 til 4 pm at the Memorial Hall in Pitlessie.

We’re about to celebrate our first anniversary, having begun in January 2025. Since then the group has grown in size and now has 14 members and as we only have two tables we’ve had to now say that we’re full. It’s a really friendly group and everyone tolerates our varied table tennis skills (or lack of them!) and we have a lot of fun every week as well as enjoying the ping pong.

After a membership ‘poll’  we have rechristened our group which is now known as ‘Totally Bats Table Tennis’ – we leave you to draw your own conclusions!

Although we’re currently full we will run a waiting list as it seems to be quite a popular activity. We are keen to explore whether there is enough demand for a second group so if you're interested please contact David Fordyce-Wright through the enquiry link above.

Our U3A Totally Bats Table Tennis Group were delighted to have recently received delivery of our brand new table tennis table. We managed to buy it through a grant from Fife Council together with some money we saved ourselves by adding a bit to our monthly fee. It means we can stop using an older one which made our playing even more tricky than usual! Thanks are due to Ed, Jan, Simon and Pauline for their parts in facilitating the purchasing process.
