The Art Group is an informal group of individuals, sharing a place, to practice their own interests in drawing and painting. This enables enjoyment and learning from the company of similarly minded people.

Sessions take place in ‘The Art House’, Off The Rails, Ladybank. (The former home of Ladybank Station Manager). There are two main studio rooms, and one smaller room. Studios are well-lit, and heated - which is included, at the moment, in the hire. There are plenty of chairs and easels. There is a downstairs toilet and a kitchen with water on both floors. The building has stair access, so, unfortunately, is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Members bring their own materials to use. The group hires the studios for three months ahead. Sessions are approx. every two weeks, but some flexibility has to be considered. The booking provides six sessions altogether. It is entirely up to individuals how they use the session:-whole day/half day/drop in when it suits you. The building will be open from 9 am - 5 pm.

The hire of The Arthouse is £65, at the moment. This cost will be divided by the number of members, who have committed for six sessions. There is no reclaim of fees, when a member is absent.

We have room for more members, if anyone is interested. You will be made most welcome!
